A role in a Fulfillment Center means a close-to-the-action opportunity to increase sales through continually innovating how guests get their hands on product from Target.com, increasing their satisfaction and further differentiating Target from all the rest. You’ll help establish the best ways to achieve critical tasks, as well as the reporting standards that indicate success or improvement opportunity. You’ll reach beyond the bounds of your team to partner across the enterprise and find solutions for Logistics. And you’ll intimately understand our owned fulfillment network and how to get the most out of it for lowest possible cost.
As a Fulfillment Center Team Member, you’ll work quickly, safely and efficiently to handle product within the warehouse to ensure the accurate processing of merchandise to our stores network and our guests. We’re in the business of delivering quality merchandise! To complete this work, you’ll be required to maintain a work area that is organized, neat and clean in order to safely receive and process freight, manage and move inventory, and load and ship items to our guests. You’ll do this by manually moving cartons and/or pallets to and from trailers, palletizing product for storage in the warehouse, and identifying, sorting, and re-packaging product for individual handling. We’ll teach you our step-by-step processes so that your work is free from errors. This work may also require to you safely operate equipment such as a pallet jack, electric fork lift, order picker, or sweepers/scrubbers, and you’ll be trained and provided with the tools and gear you need to be safe. Other responsibilities of a Fulfillment Center Team Member include updating the Warehouse Management System, other computer systems such as a Radio Frequency (RF) device, appropriately as work is performed to ensure accurate carton count and quality of product being moved to, from, and throughout the warehouse. It is also vital that you report to work on time and complete job tasks assigned accurately and on time to contribute to the overall Distribution Center results.

About you:
- Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35 lbs. frequently throughout a shift and up to 60lbs. occasionally
- Able to comprehend oral and written communication skills to effectively read labels, tickets and other product documentation
- Able to accurately use basic math skills
- Able to operate all power equipment, warehouse technology, and others systems safely
- Anticipates problems, catches errors, and takes action to complete tasks accurately and on time and communicates ways to improve quality
