Analyst - Marketplace Partner Experience

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to be a part of Target’s digital acceleration in supporting the growth of Target’s exciting new marketplace Target Plus. Target Plus is a differentiated marketplace platform that aims to offer guests a seamless online shopping experience. In this role, you will support the Partner Communications space, which is critical to ensure that our Partners (what we call Sellers) have a great experience selling on our Platform. The scope of the Partner Communications team includes managing our operational email communication to our Partners, our Partner facing documents, our Help Center and Webinars. Partner Communications falls under a broader Change & Communications team that cares for the holistic roadmap for large change initiatives within our Target Plus platform.
In this role, you will provide analyst and project management support to the Partner Communications space. The scope of this role is broad as it will support all areas of our Partner Communications (email, new content, Help Center, Webinars) and it will therefore require you to lead multiple cross-functional efforts requiring engagement with the entire Target Plus team (Acquisition, Item, Category Management, Partner Services, Onboarding, Support & Performance teams). You will be expected to be able to navigate ambiguity as many of the routines and processes within the communications space are new and evolving. This role will require a high degree of self-initiative and independence given the global partnership with and dependency on the Minneapolis based Change & Communications team. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate superior communication skills, high accountability and cross-functional leadership with a wide scope.

  • Provide ongoing analyst support to recap performance and identify opportunities in support of the following communications & knowledge channels:
  • operational email
  • help center
  • webinars
  • Complete ongoing and routine competitive benchmarking research to identify opportunities for the further evolution of our communications & knowledge channels:
  • Operational email
  • Help center
  • Webinars
  • Provide project management support in facilitating new routines in support of a new Content Library where we will house all Partner facing documents that are owned across the entire Target Plus team
  • Provide support as needed in development of new Partner content / documents (includes training modules) in partnership with TII Marketing & Creative team
  • Analyse partner experience KPIs and interpret insights to drive actions as needed

  • Graduate degree in any field of study
  • At least 4 years’ working experience in onboarding, service or support roles in digital, business-to-business (B2B), or other customer/client facing industry
  • Ability to conceptualize ideas and articulate the same to senior stakeholders within the organization
  • Ability to articulate initiatives, business cases, progress reports using MS Power Point
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Stakeholder management
  • Project Management abilities in defining, planning and execution of projects and initiatives
  • Structured problem solving abilities through critical thinking, logical reasoning and data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, in both large and small group presentations
  • Ability to make complex ideas simple to understand
  • Knowledge of e-commerce processes and systems
