As a Lead Product Designer, you’ll:
Lead the Design Process: Own the full design process from early discovery and testing to asset delivery, collaborating closely with engineers to fine-tune details.
Design Intuitive Automation Flows: Create intuitive, elegant design solutions that enhance the automation experience, ensuring usability across diverse scenarios while adding significant value.
Leverage Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data, business insights, and user needs to inform and advocate for design directions that align with automation goals.
Set Global Standards: Take full ownership of the user experience, ensuring that all designs meet or exceed global standards for enterprise applications in the automation space.
Enhance RPA and Workflow Automation: Design user interfaces and experiences that optimize the use of RPA and workflow automation tools, making complex processes more accessible and efficient for users. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of automated solutions, driving significant value improvement.
Apply Lean UX & Information Architecture: Integrate Lean UX methodologies with an Information Architecture lens to optimize design processes within agile environments.
Enhance Design Efficiency: Define and contribute to design processes, disciplines, and tools that streamline collaboration between Product, Engineering, and Design teams, facilitating efficient delivery of automation solutions.
Data Visualization Expertise: Analyze raw data from various sources, effectively communicating impacts, challenges, and next steps through clear data visualizations.
Proactively Identify Design Opportunities: Continuously seek and capitalize on opportunities to improve the design of automation and RPA solutions.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Product Designers, Engineers, Product Managers, UX Researchers, and other key stakeholders.
Ensure Cohesive Design: Consult with other teams to ensure a cohesive user experience across various touchpoints, especially within automation and RPA contexts.
Contribute to Design Systems: Utilize and contribute to a pattern library maintained by the design systems team, ensuring consistency across automation solutions.
Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to other product designers, helping them navigate the complexities of designing for automation and RPA.
Evolve as an SME: Become a Subject Matter Expert in the automation and RPA domain, partnering with business leaders to shape the broader vision and strategy.
Minimum Requirements:
10+ years of UX design experience with a focus on enterprise applications, preferably in automation or RPA.
A strong portfolio featuring digital design work, including in-depth case studies that demonstrate a modern, clean design approach.
Experience shipping digital products (web, apps, or software) within the automation or RPA space.
Expertise in modern design tools (such as Figma, Miro) and a deep understanding of prototyping and collaboration workflows.
Proficiency in data visualization: Ability to translate complex data into user-friendly designs that enhance the automation experience.
Strong collaboration and influence skills: Proven ability to work well within large organizations and with diverse teams.
Excellent communication skills: Ability to articulate and defend design decisions with logic, grace, and data-driven insights.
Ability to translate technical requirements: Simplify complex technical requirements into engaging and user-friendly design solutions.
