Sr Capability & Transitions Manager

Responsibilities:

  • assisting the organisation in better understanding, and effectively integrating, re-aligning and applying the total enterprise ability or capacity to achieve strategic and current operational objectives
  • Develop processes for capability shift, expansion, or new development. 
  • Influence key leaders across US and TII on how work might evolve 
  • Serve as project manager during times of capability movement.    
  • Working cross-functionally with senior leaders and steering committee to assess tradeoffs, evaluate resource decisions + rationale, and execute plans 
  • Develop communication strategies so that all stakeholders are informed. 
  • Facilitate cross-vertical collaboration, communication and partnership to ensure decisions are made with horizontal understanding and clear assessment of overlap/common needs
  • Serve as project manager – documenting objectives and plans while also tracking progress to goal to ensure results are achieved on time and expectations are met
  • Liaison and partner with HRBP partners to plan, identify, facilitate, and deliver on capability investments in alignment to org design and structure

Qualifications:

  • Ability to develop strong professional relationships and to influence peers, managers, executives, and other teams
  • Proven success interacting with executive level management to determine solutions, resolve issues, and present recommendations at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated ability to capability conceptualisation, definition and Development, capability costing, decision making and support.
  • Display a high level of initiative, demonstrate a willingness to experiment, invite and explore potential new ideas while understanding the risks to the organization
  • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as business acumen
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment
  • Ability to work in high intensity situations with tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree + masters (preferred)
  • 8-10 yrs of work capability/transition work experience.
