As a Senior Digital Copywriter, you will be a part of the Target Creative team that shapes the digital presence of Target. You’ll develop innovative and effective digital marketing that builds brand equity, strengthens guest loyalty and, ultimately, drives sales. Specifically, you’ll use your skills, experience and talents to create content for Target.com and email marketing – driving digital creative projects from initial concept to launch, while crafting both editorial and promotional copy written in a Target brand voice that’s clear, concise and easy-to-navigate. You’ll be challenged to merge guest insights and data with creative best practices, personal experience and instinct, while staying up to date on emerging trends, innovations and advancements in the digital creative and ecommerce industries—especially in relation to SEO. You’ll also be empowered to adapt to competing demands and shifting priorities, while ensuring the accuracy of your own copy. In this position, you’ll ultimately champion the organization’s purpose, values and direction, while supporting Target Creative’s strategies, goals and objectives. You’ll seek creative solutions to overcome obstacles. You’ll provide feedback, coaching and guidance when ap-propriate to enhance others’ skill development. And you’ll be tasked to promote sharing of expertise and continuous learn¬ing across the organization.

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of digital/ecommerce copywriting experience
• Deep knowledge of ecommerce and digital marketing best practices, particularly in regards to SEO
• Ability to tailor your writing to a specific brand voice and work quickly to meet deadlines
• Skilled in managing and executing complex projects/clients at many different stages
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Portfolio of samples showcasing creative work
