As a SeniorManager- Media Planning for Roundel, you are responsible for planning and scheduling Roundel’s client / brand marketing to ensure digital media plans are built from strategic insights and set to deliver optimal results based on the campaign objectives. You will have the opportunity to influence the way millions of guest’s shops, transact and interact with Target and brands associated with Target.

You will be closely working with internal stakeholders to be in sync with brands and business health across key cohorts to inform media approaches at campaign & advertiser level. You would be responsible for driving audience based integrated planning across Target’s omni channel framework and propose the most optimal mix in line with marketing and media objectives.

You will be responsible for effectively collaborating with global partners to build integrated approach to achieve media goals. You will work with global measurement, media optimization, account management and program management teams to establish and implement media solutions for our customers, share media best practices, create rigorous shareable insights and trends, and produce most effective media solutions.

 You will also ensure end to end campaign management and changes as required in a timely manner while ensuring adherence to the levels of service, standard operating procedures, and operational excellence principles.

This person is extremely knowledgeable in the digital space and keeps senior management aware of current trends, techniques, and technologies. In addition, this role will be responsible for, but not limited to, media campaign insights, ad inventory and revenue forecasting, and yield management. This position requires a detail-oriented, analytical focus with extensive knowledge of digital advertising, using ad technology, and a proven track record in operational excellence. As a Senior Manager, you will take the lead on providing recommendations on strategy, tactics, placements, targeting, audience segmentation, and messaging to meet specific campaign objectives. 

About you:

  • College degree in Business or Marketing
  • 12+ years of experience in digital media planning and execution using various advertising technologies including, but not limited to, Ad Serving, Media Planning, Media Buying, Yield Management, and other relevant digital media tools
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability and passion to drive results and thrives in an ambiguous environment 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Superior time management and multitasking to handle multiple concurrent projects and campaigns
  • Competency of industry systems & tools such as Doubleclick, Adwords, Social Platforms, Integral Ad Science, MOAT, Google Analytics, ComScore, eMarketer, Nielsen, IAB, and more  
  • Experience with online ad serving concepts (CPM/CPA/ROI/ROAS/RTB), video, mobile, social, display, RTB, programmatic buying
  • Understand concepts of programmatic planning, execution, and ecosystem across channels
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as other equivalent programs

Non-Technical / Soft skills Requirement:

  • Strong analytical skills with superior attention to detail • resourceful and self-motivated
  • Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent project and resource management skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills, which include maintaining positive stakeholder and vendor relationships.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple business partners and work effectively with global teams.
