Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals.  As a Sr. Operations Analyst, you’ll play a key role in developing a strategic approach to enable a high performing organization through increased operational efficiency, budget and resource management, continuous learning efforts, and team effectiveness.  Your core responsibilities will include all or some of the following:

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Work with teams to define and measure the financial and operational health of portfolio(s).

    • Financial (hardware & software capital investment, license & maintenance, resources)

    • Operational (reliability, security, compliance)

    • Team (headcount, level mix, on-boarding)

  • Support run the business of IT by providing visibility and insight to the financial and operational health of the portfolio, transparency to progress against goals and scenario planning to modify tactics to meet goals

  • Facilitate routines on behalf of the product engineering organization to drive alignment

  • Facilitate proactive (multi-year) planning to align strategies to manage spend

  • Prepare materials and presentations for leadership

  • Establish, maintain, improve, and leverage best practices and tools that enable the team to achieve desired outcomes and to ensure continuous process improvement

  • Partner with the Finance team to ensure teams are prepared for corporate financial reviews and adhering to the corporate financial processes

  • Manage relationships and collaborate with our extended team partners across Target (e.g. influence upward as well as across the organization)

  • Support communication and collaboration tools (e.g. intranet sites, SharePoint, communities) in partnership with administrative assistants

  • Coordinate  with partners outside of tech to ensure reporting consistencies are maintained and data accuracy

  • Participate and partner with other Operational Analysts to identify and implement efficiencies.

About you:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of experience in an operations role

  • Independent, self-starter, curious and thrives on learning new content

  • Detail-oriented and well organized

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal communications, written communications and facilitation skills

  • Professional maturity to interface with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • Ability to analyze, synthesize and distill multiple sources of information to tell a story

  • Ability to handle and protect confidential information

  • Ability to work in an agile environment, demonstrate the agility to adapt and evolve

  • Proficiency with O365 suite/Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Understanding of technology, applications, and platforms

  • Retail knowledge

  • Familiar with data reporting tools (Domo, Tableau, SAP, etc)
