Working within Risk Management, your mission will be to leverage your expertise to balance proactive protection and real-time mitigation of risks. Our team, including Claims, Insurance, Finance, and Safety allows for a well-rounded approach to managing risk across all operations. We serve our organization and guests with solutions that create value, mitigate risk, influence and enable the business while ensuring compliance
As a Claims Operations Director, you will develop and drive strategies to deliver operational claims outcomes that align with the claims and insurance team's overall claims management strategy, across workers compensationandgeneral liabilityfor Target and its subsidiaries. In this position, you will lead a team ofclaim managers and work cross functionally to drive Target'sphilosophy across the organization and with our vendors. You will recommend and align on annual KPIs and oversee the execution of Target'sthird-partyclaims administer and managed care vendor against those KPIs, including overall vendor staffing and performance. You will also develop claim negotiation strategy and provide authority on higher severity individual claims in both workers compensation and general liability.

Claims management knowledge – workers compensation and general liability
Understanding of data, financial and actuarial reports
Strong verbal and written communication

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
Prior experience building and leading a team
This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location.A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.
