As a Tactical Intelligence Analyst (Emerging Threats) on Target's Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team, you will be an integral piece in securing Target against current and future threats. CTI is divided into two main focuses, Realized and Emerging Threats - both are comprised of Strategic and Tactical job families. The Emerging Threats team is specifically focused on tracking and analyzing threats that are assessed to potentially effect Target's security. This analysis includes, but is not limited to, mapping malicious infrastructure, threat actor tracking, researching malicious document techniques/patterns, as well passing detection opportunities to our Threat Intel Detection Engineering (TIDE) team – our in-house, behavioral detection engineering team.
While our primary customer is the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), we also support threat hunting, enterprise investigations, and intelligence operations. We have access to the latest in technology in EDR (endpoint detection and response) and NSM (network security monitoring) as well as number of open source platforms.

• 4 year degree and/or equivalent experience
• 7+ years’ experience
• Solid problem-solving skills and experience
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop working business relationships and trust
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Ability to lead down, across, and up in order to persuade and/or negotiate desired outcomes
