Beyond our world-class service centers, there are many important challenges to be met in other FRS teams. Payments and Financial Operations strategically curate and enable payment acceptance for Target, working with internal and external partners to envision and advocate for the future, manage payment expense, proactively prevent fraud and manage the accounting and controls for FRS. FRS Operations and Product Team plays at the intersections of process and technology, and Service Center Shared Operations (SCSO) which develops comprehensive service delivery strategies for our service centers. FRS Product Design manages and grows loyalty, frequency and other marketing programs for all Payment Cards (RedCard, GiftCard). The Credit Strategy and Compliance team manages the credit card program and related interactions with our bank partner, and includes the Credit Strategy, Credit Risk Underwriting and Compliance functions.
As a Lead Operations Analyst you will be a key participant in establishing and iterating on Service Center technology strategy, roadmap, and user adoption. You will be responsible for analyzing performance results, servicing-generated data, and system use metrics to design a method to measure functionality changes and identify interface design improvement opportunities using advanced data, analytics, and reporting tools. You will work closely with teams within Service Centers, Data Science and Analytics (DSA), Finance, and other relevant enterprise stakeholders to clearly identify existing system and system process design gaps using appropriate analytical or statistical methods, build prototype models and information solutions, identify and build appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and, in conjunction with DSA, create scalable information solutions and oversee the deployment of the solutions in FRS service centers. You will scope and prioritize projects that deliver on process and productivity gaps. You will analyze data that service centers share in surveys, applications, questions, and issues via mining and fishing to determine patterns and actionable outcomes that will have a positive impact on guest experience.

- Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics and/or reporting
- Relevant business knowledge, preferably in service centers, operations support, or product teams
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Experience with statistical analysis, multi-variant testing strategies and concepts, regression modeling, forecasting, time series analysis, data mining, financial analysis, and optimization
- Experience with data analysis and data pipelining utilizing tools such as Hadoop, Spark, SQL, Python, etc.
- Proven business partnership connecting business questions with technical skills needed to address them
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of analytical and statistical techniques including model building and experimental design preferred
- Project management experience preferred
