Recruiting and training entry level talent is a core element of Target’s strategy to build a diverse and highly capable engineering team. Target offers a suite of programming to engage, onboard, and develop entry level program including multiple internship programs, training, and rotational experiences. Currently, this includes two internship experiences, a training and development program for first-time engineers, and a rotational experience program for entry-level engineers.
As a Program Manager, use your skills, experience and talents to execute these programs and deliver a positive experience for its participants and positive outcomes for the organization. You’ll own the administration of entry level programs including clear communication of program schedule and events, strong organization and planning of key program activities, consistent program operations across classes, program measurement and evaluation, and execution of continuous program improvement and evolution. You will collaborate with a team of HR, talent and development, program management, and engineering teams, develop a calendar of key events, establish and execute a communication cadence and format, and facilitate key activities such as onboarding, training,cohorting, and milestone or recognition events.

Four-year degree or equivalent experience
2-5+ years of relevant experience (Project or program management)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong program management organizational skills and high attention to detail with reporting and data
Critical thinking andproblem solvingcapabilities
Initiative to operate in a self-directed manner, sometimes with ambiguous requirements
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across team, leader, and internal partners
Experience in technology or supporting a technology business preferred
Experience in the training and development field preferred
