Your role will be critical to ensuring the success of Target’s business initiatives and core retail operations.

As a Sr Manager, Accounts Receivable Control, you will be responsible for the accounting for the Target Private Label Credit Card, Target Mastercard, and Target Debit Card. You’ll assess control risk and process changes as Target’s settlement systems modernize to newer technology. You will manage the settlement with our Partner Bank that owns our credit card receivables. You manage a team of 3 exempts and 1 non-exempt. In this role you’ll build partnerships with the FRS Bank Program team, Partner Bank team, and Finance and technology product teams. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

About you:

  • B.A./B.S. Degree in accounting or finance
  • 6 - 8+ years relevant accounting or audit experience
  • Proven leadership experience, interpersonal skills and credibility
  • Proven project management skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • Able to positively interact with various levels of management.
  • Excellent reasoning and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and follow-through
  • Proven ability to work with and coordinate cross-functional efforts

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target’s needs.  A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $85,400-$153,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
