A role in Finance Capabilities means partnering with Finance, technology, data science and analytics leaders to co-create solutions that maximizes business value and enables key strategies that are critical to the enterprise and for the experiences we create for our guests.  Truly an owner and expert of your product and underlying processes, you will set the vision, align on the roadmap and mobilize teams to deliver needed outcomes. Given most strategies have a Finance impact, you will also serve as a trusted resource to guide other enterprise partners in their solutions to ensure the success and integrity of end-to-end deliverables.

As a Strategic Planning Lead Analyst for Finance you will support the portfolio strategy and key priorities across the Finance organization and within Finance Capabilities. This will include helping to define and gain alignment on what the top capability and talent priorities are, defining objectives and key results, supporting reinforcing routines and measurement necessary to ensure their success, and partnering with CFTs across Finance and Finance Capabilities to deliver against our priorities.

Within Finance Capabilities you will partner across Product, Data, Process Excellence and Ops teams to ensure all functions are connected and aligned behind our most important priorities. You will build cross-team capabilities that enable us to show up in a more connected and effective way for our business partners across Finance and the enterprise. You will support Finance Capabilities strategic planning through activation as well as strategic planning with our business partners.

Throughout your work across Finance and Finance Capabilities you will leverage storytelling and alignment skills to rally teams around a common path towards profitable, sustained growth with a focus on the guest. You will work in a wide variety of spaces and with a wide variety of teams, balancing higher-level strategic planning with more detailed activation while always focusing on enabling those around you to collectively achieve more than we could on our own. You will partner with and influence through others and will be a big part of helping us progress the Finance Capability and Finance organizations.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience – preferably in Finance, Accounting, or another Business related area.
  • Working knowledge of the retail industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic planning, strategy & operations or other related area at the intersection of strategy & operations
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and facilitate through a wide range of stakeholders and partners
  • Strong analytical acumen with demonstrated ability to analyze data, generate insights and recommend actions
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft your message to a variety of audiences
