The Influencer Manager leads, executes and supports the Influencer strategy, campaign oversights, and network development.  This role has a strong familiarity with the influencer, talent and management landscape specifically in beauty or fashion and an understanding of how talent is leveraged to support marketing objectives. This person will be responsible for ideating and building strategic influencer-driven campaigns, and identifying the right talent to fulfill the programs. This position needs a strong negotiations skill and a proven track record working directly with talent, clients, agents, and managers. In addition, the candidate has experience with Influencer management software and tools; and a deep understanding of how to utilize data and analytics for campaigns. With a primary focus on verticals this leader will build strong, commercially viable relationships with the top digital influencers and talent. 


  • Identify key influencer profiles in focused categories & set deliverables to attain client success
  • Lead research efforts to identify appropriate influencer candidates
  • Oversee outreach, negotiation and procurement of influencers
  • Management of all influencer deliverables
  • Development of weekly and monthly reporting
  • Identify influencer opportunities to be leveraged with other business units
  • Lead and oversee influencer campaigns - from ideation and pitching to campaign execution
  • Oversee influencer campaigns to ensure timely execution of talent deliverables, client communication and coordination of logistics based on talent contracts
  • Develop programs for influencers and creators across all internal verticals, from content co-creation to offline events, that support brand initiatives, objectives and KPIs
  • Strategically identify talent and influencers for brand campaigns and programs that maximize ROI and achieve campaign KPIs
  • Manage existing and develop new relationships within the digital influencer community (MCN's, Talent Agencies, Content Creators, Media Platforms, etc.)
  • Facilitate the negotiation and execution of brand campaigns for partnered content creators
  • Lead the negotiation and contracting of influencers with a strong knowledge in Federal Trade Commission Guidelines (FTC) and standard deal points
  • Diversify revenue streams by identifying influencer opportunities and developing go-to-market plans to expand audiences
  • Communicate and evangelize creator network capabilities to internal and external partners at all levels
  • Lead the team in maintaining an effective understanding of the ever-changing influencer landscape, tools, 3rd party vendors and trends

Job requirements:

  • 4 year degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing or Communication
  • 3-5 years of experience in the digital media/influencer space required, particularly working with beauty developing business within a digital, public relations, or advertising/integrated marketing agency
  • Experience in leading l influencer activations through execution
  • Experience in talent social analytics related to selection and evaluation
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to create social playbooks for clients and Influencers
  • Experience buying/managing talent/content in the digital space and interacting with brands, agencies, MCNs, influencers
  • Strong relationships with top influencers, talent representation, and digital/social networks
  • Relevant experience across key social media properties including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, blogs, etc.
  • Experience in digital media, talent/artist relations, public relations and/or marketing
  • Experience with and knowledge of short-form video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc
  • Content distribution expertise spanning owned, earned, and paid digital channels
