The desired candidate will have the ability to develop and execute creative solutions to marketing challenges.
This person should possess strong communication skills (verbal and written), and have a passion for email
marketing. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with our Marketing, Creative, Merchandising and Technology teams in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. This position will be responsible for assisting and supporting all aspects of the Email Marketing team, from campaign development to execution. The Senior Director of Marketing is responsible for the strategy and execution of digital acquisition and retention campaigns. The role will be the analytical leader leveraging multiple channels including emerging e-commerce and marketing channels. The role will oversee the Performance, Retention and Loyalty Marketing teams, reporting to the VP, Marketing. You will have the unique roll of owning the complete customer life cycle from awareness and acquisition to retention and loyalty. This position requires strong strategic and analytical skill as well as superior leadership and mentoring experience. This individual will work cross-functionally with all other Dermstore teams, including Merchandising, Tech, Operations. Strategy & Insights and Customer Service as well as agency partners.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Define and manage Dermstore’s digital marketing strategy. Lead the strategy and execution of digital marketing programs to drive awareness, acquisition and retention.

 Develop execute and manage the marketing plan and budget, working closely with the Strategy and Insights group to monitor analytics and opportunities.

 Oversee and optimize branding, awareness, acquisition, email/direct mail communications, consumer engagement and promotional calendars to exceed engagement and sales goals.  Innovate acquisition and retention marketing campaigns with company and brand goals in mind. Test new platforms, sites and partners.

 Oversee a team of marketers and foster new thinking through the organization focused on continuous improvement across the board.

 Develop and maintain productive, respectful relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Promote a positive, inquisitive, innovative environment building effective teams to meet and exceed company goals.

 Work closely with the Creative team to ensure consistency of message and aesthetic.

 Collaborate with Operations and Merchandising to align on goals and ensure successful campaigns REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to the VP, Marketing. Will collaborate with Merchandising, Tech, Operations, Strategy & Insights and Customer Service. JOB REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 10+ years direct experience showing successful career growth in CRM, Database Marketing, Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing and Agency management.

 8+ years experience managing and leading cross-functional teams  Expert understanding of digital marketing with knowledge of optimization tactics and KPI management
