A role with Target Promotions Marketing means that you’ll be part of a team that leads Target’s Value communication strategy and brings holistic promotional and value stories to life for Target’s guests. The team has a broad range of responsibilities including planning & development, creative, execution and production. Promotions Marketing leverages a variety of print and digital media and is responsible for Target’s Weekly Ad, Digital Weekly Ad, Print Promotions, In-store Promotional Signing and Printing Services.
As a Creative Project Manager, you’ll be a driving force in Promotions Marketing by supporting the project management of multi-channel creative elements and experiences from concept through delivery. Design “how” Creative work is accomplished by planning, organizing, managing and executing project plans/processes. You will partner and consult with Art Directors and Creative Managers on project coordination, establish and communicate detailed timing and deliverables by channel/tactic for multiple projects simultaneously, and help to set clear expectations with internal and external partners. You will help build connections across creative projects, mitigate risks and roadblocks, and communicate roles and responsibilities throughout the project workflow. We’ll support you along the way with robust onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a strong Creative Project Manager. • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of industry experience including mass advertising, video, social, digital and/or experiential marketing
• Ability to manage and execute projects in many different stages and work with ambiguity
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, initiative and accountability
• Communicates clearly and succinctly, in both written and verbal formats
