Target is one of the Global Fortune 500, one of America’s leading retailers.
At the heart of one of the world’s best loved and most recognizable brands is an impeccable Owned Brand organization. We thrive on the magic of discovering that just-right thing, and we infuse everything we do with our passion for affordable chic. We concept, develop, make and deliver the stylish new favorites that Target guests expect and deserve. We are uber-savvy trend and style experts who stay ahead of the curve, proactively identifying our market’s needs and exceeding them, every time. Our dynamic and inventive teams influence the style, quality and value that decisively position Target above the competition. Your input will have a direct and positive effect, across home, hardlines, essentials, beauty, or apparel categories. Here, you’ll be close to the action of dreaming up and bringing to life the Target-owned brands that surprise and gratify guests, wherever and whenever they love to shop.
A role in Owned Brand Operations means building and evolving capabilities the cross functional teams use in developing products that have a positive impact on people and the planet. You’ll support strategic initiatives and improvements for the Owned Brand organization and influence the technology portfolio and build solutions to manage the product lifecycle. Your positive influence will help reframe problems, explore new possibilities and create guest experiences only found at Target. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to understand processes, create tools, and reporting. The Owned Brand team starts at the very earliest stages of product development, builds out the costing models and tracks where product stands at every step in the production cycle, from overseas shipping to our import warehouses, distribution centers and stores. And since Target is indeed a global company, you’ll be part of the team that manages global relationships. You’ll lead persona based programs that assure leadership alignment and connectivity including portfolio prioritization. In addition, you’ll enable systems and technology solutions to institutionalize cross-functional processes, deliver business objectives, and enhance data driven insights and decision making.
Building out key reporting and tools also means that you’ll help train and deliver messages to our Owned Brand team, as well as to our cross-functional partners to ensure an understanding of roles, responsibilities, key processes and tools.
