A leadership role in Owned BrandBuying offers the opportunity to define a growth strategy for our exceptional food Owned Brands, including Good & Gather and Favorite Day. Through cross-functional collaboration and data and insight-mining, you will be the expert on the guest, the market and the competition. You’ll be the point person to lead a cross functional team of food experts to deliver value to our guests and advance the strategic and financial objectives of our business. Here, you’ll own a broad product portfolio and the end-to-end owned brand pyramid-level strategic initiatives so that your work is varied and challenging.
As an Director, Owned Brands Merchandising you’ll drive omni-channel growth through two avenues – 1) building a long range growth plan for Food & Beverage owned brands that informs tactics across product development, sourcing and negotiations, pricing and promotions and merchandising and 2) building profitable, differentiated owned brand assortments for assigned categories. With responsibility for pyramid-scope leadership, you’ll orchestrate work across a wide variety of functions and shape the priorities for the team of Owned Brand Senior Buyers. You’ll lead prioritization decisions across product development, sourcing and marketing to achieve the long range plan for owned brands. As the owner of your owned brand category, you’ll also provide key packaging inputs to initiate the creative process based on a thorough competitive assessment and desired messaging hierarchy and navigational needs. Your flexibility in reacting to project hurdles and your ability to translate financial metrics and data into actionable strategies will be critical.

Four-year degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of Merchandising or Brand Management and Profit and Loss experience
Strong strategic and analytical skills to grow a business
Strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional team
Flexible, resilient and comfortable working in “gray areas” that are constantly changing
