A role with Target Store Experience Marketing means an opportunity to shape our guests’ holistic experience of our marketing content inside our stores. You’ll drive the success of both forward-thinking projects and best practices that have a global impact on Store Experience Marketing’s activities. Bring your exceptional skills for prioritization to manage projects to meet budget and timing parameters. Here, you’ll balance efficiency with effectiveness as you proactively drive the end-to-end marketing process to ensure accurate and timely production and delivery for all store experience marketing deliverables.

As an SEM Lead Project Manager, for enterprise level initiatives, you’ll design detailed plans that takes in account multiple project plans and identifies cross-project dependencies and opportunities for efficiencies. Apply critical thinking to manage these project plans through development, connecting partners, and developing new processes and tools. Leverage your excellent communication and time management skills to monitor progress across multiple projects, clearly communicating project status, issues, and resolutions with the project team, external partners and senior leadership. Seek creative solutions where needed to overcome obstacles and ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities throughout project workflow. Ability to adapt and make adjustments as needed. Accurately forecast resource requirements by understanding component (e.g. photography, materials, labor) resource needs across the body of work. Provide input to resource planning, budge development and cost control. Inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance. Develop relationships and persuade others to resolve problems, and/or change minds to achieve desired outcomes.


  •  College graduate or related experience
  •  6+ years of project management experience
  •  Ability to manage and execute complex projects/partners in many different stages and work with ambiguity
  •  Strong organization and planning skills
  •  Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  •  Proven track record of consistent project execution
  •  Ability to drive operational efficiency
  •  Excellent negotiations and time management skills
  •  Excellent communication and presentation skills
  •  Collaborative team player
  •  Positive attitude
  •  Ability to work with people at all levels
