The Food & Beverage Direct Store Delivery (DSD) team helps bring food experiences to life for Target guests. As the owners of the process for all DSD projects plans, we evolve the food experience at Target by fostering strong cross-functional relationships and bringing the right minds together. We gain alignment on our shared roadmap, goals and metrics in support of our vision. And our positive influence helps reframe problems, explore new possibilities and create guest experiences only found at Target.
Use your talents and experience with advanced proficiency on specific subject matters to create and establish standards, practices and processes and lead team members and leaders through change. Demonstrate self-direction, detailed problem solving, independent judgment and decision making in order to drive results for the Food and Beverage DSD business.
As a Lead Business Partner, you will drive operational improvement in stores by designing the vendor management program, updating processes, improving operational efficiency, elevating the guest experience and increasing On Shelf Availability (OSA) for critical Food and Beverage items. You will educate and lead Target Field & Stores team members on new systems and processes, driving engagement and accountability. You act as a coach and influencer to the Field & Stores Team and HQ leaders to hold vendors accountable to new processes. To understand the pain points of the Field & Stores teams and influence that audience, you will visit and work from Stores. You will manage a 3rd party/external operations team to identify pain points, identify gaps and ensure issues are being resolved in a timely manner. You will also influence and support change management for improvement in the areas of technology, process, or team member / guest experience.

Four-year Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in retail operations or process management
Ability to build and support a strategic vision to drive operational improvements
Experience influencing key business partners, including senior leadership
Ability to challenge upward and challenge the status quo, to resolve problems that are without clear precedent, and to influence effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills addressing a variety of levels, internal and external
Experience building and maintaining cross-functional working relationships
Ability to travel
