The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

As aLead Engagement Manager for Target Social, you will build and foster relationships with internal and external partners to plan and lead our content strategy portfolio for our priority campaigns and key messaging tentpole moments across Marketing & Digital (M&D)You will sculpt and drive connections with key partners to deliver authentic and connected activations that meet the goals of the Social channel. You will lead in partner engagement with a focus on managing expectations of how we work, while defining new ways of working that will improve upon and continue to build equity within the Social organization. You will work closely with our external agencies to activate our team’s strategic roadmap, activating and managing content in flight and leading our budget process and management to ensure we are creating work on time and within budget.

You will motivate and inspire the teams to meet their milestones of the work throughout the process and to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while fostering a culture of collaboration across the organization. You will be an influential partner and seen as the go-to point of contact for internal and external partners for Social.

Job duties may change at any time due to business needs. Additionally, you will:

  • Strategic lead and engagementpartner for Tier 1 campaigns and drive key messaging tentpole momentsacross M&D, inclusive of Summer, BTS/BTC and Holiday

  • Lead and define new ways of working to connect all content channel partners to proactively plan and map out a holistic content approach for audience led work

  • Lead partner in agency interaction, through ongoing connections and management to meet needs and expectations for timely, on budget and effective activations

  • Social budget captain, owning planning, management and routine across all campaigns and through monthly forecast and connections to our finance partners

  • Define and implement roadmap through our end-to-end model, from strategy and insights to relationship management, into activation and measurement and reporting

  • Lead in neutralizing ambiguity, identifies challenges and takes a strong lead in defining solutions and driving action plan to keep teams moving

  • Lead and maintainSocial’sengagement model across the enterprise, ensuring interaction with team, partners and agency meet the team’s guidelines to meet key initiatives  

  • Lead engagement with focus on building trusting and collaborative relationships with key Marketing teams and external agency on behalf of the Social team.

About you:

  • 8+ years Account Management, Project Management, or equivalent experience

  • Strategic, big-picture thinker who can anticipate, connect the dots and activate teams

  • Expert interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, able to connect across the organization to clarify and set clear expectations

  • Master in leading through ambiguity as an objective partner that maintains a Guest-centric point of view

  • Self-starter that has strength in building relationships, connecting teams and driving projects forward

  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a faced pace environment with a consistent and accurate output

  • Builds trusting and collaborative relationships with peers, marketing partners and external agencies

  • Ability to build and manage relationships across all levels

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs.  A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.  A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
