The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

A role within the Properties Strategy & Operations means being a part of the team that is driving strategy and operational best practice across all Properties teams.

As a Lead Process Manager, you will build and drive future state operations that will transform how Properties operates for years to come. You will join a team that contributes to the development and management of Properties strategic goals and objectives in service of operational excellence. You will lead end-to-end process evolution for processes identified in our multiyear Properties strategy including responsibility for cross-functional team leadership to identify and document points of improvement, create clarity and clear ownership.

You will leverage your expertise and experience to lead process initiatives from idea to implementation through project management fundamentals. You will create measurable goals to determine the effectiveness of process and capability changes and consistently deliver value to our global team. You will contribute to the development and management of strategic priorities and objectives, and you will coach and mentor key stakeholders including senior leaders. You will leverage your experience to ensure goals are met and play a critical role demonstrating and advocating a culture of continuous improvement to strengthen best practices, processes, and routines.

Core responsibilities of this job are as follows, knowing these duties may change at any time in the event of evolving business needs.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. About You:

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail operations environment

  • Demonstrated proficiency in structured problem-solving and process management tools required (8-step problem solving, Statistical Process Control, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standardized Work, Visual Management etc.) including demonstrated experience in applying continuous improvement principles in a retail environment

  • Change agent with strong credibility and influence while working in cross functional teams & with senior leadership

  • Proven strengths in problem solving and analytical thinking

  • Project management skills including scoping, problem statements, goal definition, and timeline management

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, time management, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to handle changing priorities and use of good judgement in stressful situations

  • Experience working in an ambiguous environment with limited direction

  • Ability to interpret, communicate and advocate company’s and pyramid’s strategic direction

  • The successful candidate should be energetic, motivated and forward-thinking with high ethical standards and the appropriate professional demeanor and presence.

Desired Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint

  • Basic knowledge of data structure, reporting and analysis

  • Smartsheet, Greenfield and Microsoft Excel
