A role with Target Channel Activation means being close to the action of delivering profitable sales to Target.com and bringing the business’s multichannel vision to life. You’ll create and implement industry-leading digital media plans for Brand & Category Marketing while staying on the cutting edge of emerging digital media innovations. Cultivating an environment of full-team engagement, leadership and personal development, you’ll be a champion for open communication and program transparency.
As a Paid Social Manager you will play a critical role in leading day-to-day management and optimization of Target digital media campaigns across social media channels, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter. You will be accountable to executing scalable tactics to drive brand, engagement and performance results.You will commonly perform custom analysis, develop reporting/insights and communicate results to partners and key stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for developing consistent processes and execution techniques to help streamline our go-to market activation strategies, including but not limited to: campaign set-up, taxonomy creation, audience segmentation, bidding strategies and budget/performance pacing. You are expected to keep pace with Paid Social and overall digital marketing trends and translate relevant industry developments into enterprise strategies for Target.
•Relevant work experience or academic accomplishments related to Advertising, Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related concepts
•5+ years of experience in SEM/Paid Search/Paid Social and/or product feed-based advertising management and execution
•Activation and media strategy experience with paid search and/or social platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook and Instagram, Google Ads/Google AdWords, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter.
•Experience in direct response media (specifically Product Ads, Shopping Ads, Paid Social), with optimization and measurement geared toward driving digital conversion.
•Intimate knowledge of technical aspects of configuration, optimization and measurement of paid social campaigns activated to drive eCommerce sales (i.e. pixels, attribution, prospecting vs. retargeting, etc.)
•Highly detail oriented with excellent organization skills while managing multiple ongoing projects
•Advanced computer skills, including high-level proficiency in Excel (including, but not limited to, pivot tables and VLookups)
•Detailed knowledge and experience with web analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
•Comfortable navigating through ambiguity with a strong sense of prioritization and bias for action
