POSITION:              Senior Operations Analyst

LOCATION:             1000 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403

DUTIES:                    Use mathematical modeling and optimizing methods to solve business problems and aid in decision making. Identify and solve organizational problems through data analytics, while presenting strategic enterprise-wide recommendations by developing metrics to assess design gaps and evaluate products post-sale to track progress. Create and run statistical models (cluster, regression, etc.) in statistical programs to gather solution impacts on marketing strategy, customer patterns, etc. Develop testing models and scalable solutions. Identify and build appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Analyze data from surveys, applications, questions, issues via mining and fishing to determine patterns and actionable outcomes. Serve as peer leader. Work closely with cross-functional partners to analyze existing processes. Deliver key findings to business stakeholders across the operations ecosystem. Utilize the following data analytics tools and technologies: Exploratory Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Regression Analysis, Predictive Modeling, Data Visualization, A/B Testing, SQL, R. Python, Hive, JIRA, Teradata, SAS, Hadoop, AWS, MapReduce, Spark, Greenfield, Automation Portal, Microsoft Suite. May telecommute from any location in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS:  At least a Master’s Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a closely related field, as well as three (3) years of experience in operations analysis and business consulting (any title), including connecting business challenges with technical skills for solutions; analyzing data to make recommendations or inform feature selections; and delivering presentations to stakeholders. Must include at least six (6) months of experience applying data science to solve business challenges; developing, training, and testing machine learning models; and utilizing SQL, Python, R, Hive, JIRA, Exploratory Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Regression Analysis, Predictive Modeling, and Data Visualization. May telecommute from any location in the U.S.

In the alternative, the employer will accept at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a closely related field, as well as five (5) years of post-bachelor’s, progressive experience in operations analysis and business consulting (any title), including connecting business challenges with technical skills for solutions; analyzing data to make recommendations or inform feature selections; and delivering presentations to stakeholders.
