Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field team and leaders who use them. As a Sr. Business Partner – Store Communications, you will serve as a strategic partner in for the Store Communications Team to plan, prioritize, edit and deliver a variety of communication for store and field leaders. You will gain an understanding of store processes, operations and priorities to clearly write and edit with a store and guest lens. A role within Store Communications means a big opportunity to continuously improve the communication channels between Target Corporate and our team members and leaders in the field.
Edit a variety of writing styles (technical, conversational, strategic) as an expert in the Store Communications Style Guide, ensuring consistency in brand messaging across all communication channels.
Consult on, edit, and send core communication deliverables to store and field leaders across the country.
Develop and implement quarterly, monthly and weekly communication outline planning.
Manage multiple pieces of communication, hold peers accountable to timing and action, and meet all deadlines.
Support end to end initiatives that drive operational improvement in stores via updated processes, operational efficiencies, and elevated team member and guest experience.
Represent Store Operations in enterprise cross-pyramid initiatives and ensure that store impact is communicated and understood.
Be curious by exploring ways to improve communication processes internally and for stores and field leaders.

About you:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience in Communications or Journalism
4+ years of work experience as a communications professional writing and/or editing
Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships
Ability to self-organize and lead through ambiguity
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Stores experience at Target or another retailer preferred
