Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field team and leaders who use them. A role with Stores Replenishment means a big opportunity to apply your operations, logistics, supply chain and fulfillment experience to improve the strategies that fuel behind-the-scenes processes like fulfillment, replenishment and inventory availability.
As a Sr. Business Partner in Stores Replenishment – Small Format Inventory Support, you will:
Partner with Small Format store leaders to urgently support and resolve inventory and transportation challenges, and proactively identify and mitigate misallocation risks.
Participate in Small Format roundtable discussions with store operations, merchant, inventory management, supply chain, and properties partners to help improve product rationalization, external storage solutions, and freight flow allocation tactics.
Leverage data and analytics to provide replenishment insights into broader in-store availability trends, backroom space utilization, inbound replenishment volumes, and freight pre-positioning for key seasons.
Work closely with middle mile transportation and freight flow partners to ensure stores are positioned with the right inventory, in the right quantity, at the right time.
Build relationships with HQ and Field business leaders, process owners, and cross-functional partners to create feedback loops and routines to deepen operational acumen, serve as the voice of the Small Format store teams, and provide recommendations/solutions for business problems.
Establish, communicate, and implement comprehensive project plans all while representing Store Operations in enterprise initiatives such as backroom capacity planning, transition freight flow accuracy, and enhanced replenishment capabilities.
Facilitate project management activities through scope and business objectives development, stakeholder engagement, task management, and quality deliverables.
Suggest improvements for complex replenishment processes to improve operational efficiency, elevate the guest experience and increase profitable sales.

Four-year degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in retail operations or process management
Ability to share knowledge to support a strategic vision
Communicates effectively with total team and broader partner teams
Leverages data to tell a story or to improve processes
Ability to influence and negotiate effectively
Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships
Ability to manage projects effectively and work in an ambiguous environment
Ability to work independently with limited direction and in high intensity situations
Proficient in Microsoft Office
This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location.A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.
Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $65,600 to $118,100.
