A role on the Financial Planning and Analysis team means providing insight and guidance to support Target’s strategic growth strategies and financial decisions. You’ll deliver objective and financially-focused insights to the business owners and finance leaders. You will be a critically important resource for long-term and annual financial planning, analysis and drive cross-company initiatives. 

As a Senior Financial Analyst, working on Target’s transformative store remodel program, you will be responsible for leading the analysis of post-remodel sales, margin, and operating results.  You will be a key figure driving insights and analysis to help inform business partners and leadership about progress while developing recommendations for performance improvement.  You will build meaningful partnerships across FP&A teams as you work to capture key themes, trends and insights to be shared with senior finance and company leadership helping Target deliver strong annual and long-term financial outcomes.  You will also be responsible for ad-hoc projects and delivering high-quality analytic insights to help drive decision making.  Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

About you:

• B.A/B.S degree in accounting or finance

• 3.5 years relevant finance experience (including FP&A experience)

• Strong analytical, decision-making, project management and organizational skills

• Superior leadership skills with enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for results

• Experienced in collaborating across departments/business units and driving results through collaboration

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; tailors message by audience, negotiate consequences, handle crisis, setbacks and conflicts constructively and diplomatically, and provide essential information to the right people at the right time; relationship-building aptitude

• Microsoft excel, PowerPoint as well as SAP and SSAS skills desired
