As a Sr Manager FP&A, you will investigate the potential impacts of strategic business initiatives and transactions. You’ll interpret financial and operational performance in order to identify business risks and opportunities. You’ll do this by creating financial tools to streamline
decision making, partnering with internal clients to develop long range goals, annual budgets and monthly forecasts. This role includes evaluating strategic initiatives or business opportunities while coordinating cross-functional reviews and supports both new and on-going
initiatives. Finally, you’ll develop process improvements using strategic problem solving skills. In addition to using these skills, you will be focused on delivering  on our transition to cost accounting activities by focusing time and efforts on the following:

  • Support merchant efforts by being experts in cost accounting methodology, metrics and business analysis under the new accounting
    practices.  Pyramid specific financial experts will help merchant teams through new  experiences, new routines, reports and metrics 
  • Identify and work with metrics & reporting resources to align any pyramid unique reporting solutions
  • Train and lead change management learnings from prototypes to broader pyramid, this includes all persona’s from Merchants SVPs to entry
    level inventory, planning and buying positions
  • Lead cutover activities occurring in 2019 for new forecast and planning activities that will be necessary in  2019 as we maintain business
    performance under retail accounting and future forecasts and plans in cost accounting
  • Go live support once cutover occurs as a trusted and credible expert to help quickly resolve any issues and strategically align new data,
    metrics and activities to unlock merchant P&L profitability
  • Job duties may change at any time due to business needs

About you:

  • MBA Degree with strong academic performance
  • 6-9 years finance and business experience
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building, with team oriented focus
  • Cost accounting background at retailer a plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical, decision making, project management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Credible thought leader
