The pay range is $111,200.00 - $200,200.00

Product Teams at Target are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained and highly reliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology, discovery and design work. 

The Product Detail Page (PDP) is the centrepiece of customer’s product-purchasing decisions; making it one of the most strategic and decisive pages for an ecommerce site. It’s crucial for the PDP to be intelligent enough to understand the customer’s needs and flexible enough to support customers with the content and experience they need to navigate multiple types of purchase decisions.

Success in this role will requireleaning heavily into aconsumer/guest centric mindset and utilizingcompetitive & user research, design thinking, creating & optimizing content, A/B testing to iterate your way to impactful experience creation. It will require working on cross-functional co-creation, prioritizing intake requests from various partners, balancing revenue-driving opportunities, and creating horizon roadmaps for the squad and with partner teams. Additionally, given the recent explosion in generative AI, successful candidates will do well toleverage these new and exciting technologies to evolve online shopping experiences.

As a Senior Product Manager,Confidence to Buy – PDP Frequency Categoryyou will partner w/ stakeholders to develop a comprehensive product roadmap and set key performance indicators (KPIs) for your respective product/areaYou will need to leverage the knowledge of your product, as well as customer feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will lead a product and work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product.

You will be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop and actively understand the market, maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders. 

You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles, and partner with product teams across the organization to help them achieve their goals while pursuing and completing yours.

About you: 

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years of product management experienceor equivalentin ecommerce, preferablymiddle of the funnel

  • Proven experience in product positioning, optimizing content on page for performance and driving revenues

  • Prior experience designing solutions leveraging machine learning / artificial intelligence

  • Data Centric with expertisein ecommerce metrics

  • Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams 

  • Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)

  • Ability to lead a body of work with cross-functional partners

  • Strong communication skills& influencing skills with proven ability to lead body of work with cross functional partners

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs.  A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.  A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
