Roundel is Target’s entry into the media business, a sell-side business built on the principles of first party (people based) data, brand safe environments and proof that our marketing programs drive business results for our clients. We operate with the ethos of trust and transparency and that media works best when it works in everyone’s best interest. At the very root of that, Roundel is here to drive business growth for our clients, and redefine “value” in the industry by solving core industry challenges vs. copy current industry methods of operation. We are here to drive a key growth initiative for Target and to lead the industry to a better way of operating.
As a Senior Business Development Analyst, you can expect to lead end to end relationships with one or more of Roundel’s Strategic Partners, which include some of the world’s most recognized brands. You will develop (or co-develop) overall strategy including: product and partnership roadmap + development of biz case, alignment on priorities with a focus on maximizing value on both sides of the partnership. Our partners expect thoughtful, timely and articulate communication. That communication can include Engineers, Data Scientists, PR, Finance, Sr Leaders and Legal teams. Working across Partners, Target and Roundel, you will be exposed to numerus technology capabilities and Business ideas. Your role is to connect dots across technology and ideas to formulate and prioritize a partnership roadmap as well as ideate and collaborate innovative solutions to modern marketing problems. As these opportunities are identified, you will manage the end-to-end launch and evaluation of approved projects. Including being accountable for Leadership re caps, press announcements, and prioritization with working teams.

Clean and articulate documentation skills are necessary to collect, connect and coordinate across all teams, systems and people that play critical roles in your ability to deliver. You will be part of a team that manages all Roundel Strategic Partners and will have access to other thought leaders and experts working on similar work streams.

- Four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or equivalents
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Exceptional communication and organization skills
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to judge and quantify the potential of new projects
- Ability to articulate complicated topics to engineers as well as Sr leaders
- PR or Corporate Communication experience is a plus
- Ability to quickly ideate and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external partners
- In-depth understanding of the digital marketing eco system
- Methodical, well-organized, accountable and detail-oriented
- Genuine curiosity with how things work; motivated, self-starter
- Passionate thought leader
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Deep understanding and expertise: In-house expert on emerging ad products, ad operations, and media innovations and technology
- Project Management: Define product requirements and user flows, coordinate resources from other groups (design, web, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones
- Analysis: Responsible for identifying and tracking key performance indicators
