In Sourcing, you’ll apply your knowledge of supply chain to drive the success and growth of Target’s owned brands. The Sourcing team starts at the very earliest stages of product development, builds out the costing models and tracks where product stands at every step in the production cycle, from overseas shipping to our import warehouses, distribution centers and stores. And since Target is indeed a global company, in this role you will work closely with your overseas team to analyze macro trends and build out a comprehensive sourcing strategy. You’ll be a close point-of-contact with Target team members in sourcing offices located in 20 countries around the globe, and you’ll support their work as liaisons among buyers, product developers and overseas partners.

As a Senior Sourcing Manager, you will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team including Target Merchants and Product Design and Development to turn ideas into the merchandise on our stores’ shelves and online channels. You will be responsible for partnering with overseas sourcing and external suppliers to deliver high-quality, trend-right merchandise at a great value to our guests. You will drive sourcing strategies that align to strategic business goals and the critical needs of the category, as well as utilize advanced negotiating skills to help Target achieve our financial plans. You will build and present costing and profitability scenarios and options to business and design team.  You will develop and manage a supplier matrix and country of production strategy that achieves global balance, optimal performance, and delivers on cost, quality, and responsible sourcing expectations. About you:

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant sourcing or merchandising experience

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target’s needs.  A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$87,900.00 USD - $158,200.00 USD.
