A role in Strategy and Operations means leading the execution of the new store, remodel and merchant innovation projects. From large program rollouts to unique special projects, new small-format stores and large-format ground-up construction, you’ll help manage the scope, schedule and budget for all Target construction projects, including adhering to the project timelines, coordinating and overseeing the onsite construction process. You’ll keep all of the players and partners aligned with effective communication between store teams, vendors, general contractors, field leadership and project teams.
As a Sr. Specialist on the Construction Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing and scheduling contract set up and other system administrative work for all construction projects. In addition, you will be responsible for contract maintenance and reporting. You’ll also assist in the creation and distribution of various reports for the entire construction team, including leadership. You will provide general team support for all teams across the Construction department inclusive of meeting notes and recaps, and project follow up. You’ll assist all members of the construction team with the generation of purchase orders, invoice processing and expediting. Collect, review, track and process invoices for payment. You will develop and document "Best Practices" and standards for own job function and acts as a resource for new Specialist. You will regularly interact with all levels of internal team members and external partners. You may create/edit presentations/correspondence for review with some instruction. Assist in the development and execution of construction related presentations; both physical and virtual. Manage current and historical data, images and financial documentation for use in presentations. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs
