A role in Network Planning and Global Intelligence means creating industry leading intelligence solutions to drive best in class omnichannel guest experiences at the lowest cost to Target. You might focus on enabling the future transportation operating model, optimizing inventory management, driving topology planning or leveraging deep business insights and analytics to propel Target’s Supply Chain. As a network steward, we create forecasts, design inventory optimization strategies and leverage technology to ensure our inventory is available at the right time, in the right places and quantity to meet the needs of our guest, stores and operational goals. As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing Supply Chain data to understand the current state of Target’s Supply Chain, leveraging this data to develop insights to inform and influence leadership and key stakeholders on decisions. You will use your expertise to identify, evaluate and lead initiatives to drive improvements in the supply chain business, including creation and/or implementation of processes and driving accountability and controls to oversee processes through performance measurement. To support this work, you will be a key partner in conference calls, field visits, the development of reporting tools and training programs to influence improvements in Target’s Supply Chain. As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you will partner with peers, leadership and stakeholders across the Supply Chain, including Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory Management, Finance and Store Operations to drive these improvement. Being able to foster a culture of innovation, inclusiveness and continuous improvement will be critical to be successful in this role!
- A strong passion for analyzing and answering hard questions with data
- Proven ability using data to drive changes improvement in an operational environment
- Ability to clearly & succinctly communicate complex concepts in written and verbal form
- Experience in Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Inventory Management, or Finance is a preferred
- B.S/M.S or MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Finance, Mathematics, Computer science and other related quantitative fields
- Familiarity or experience with programming in a few of the following is plus (SQL, Data Visualization, R, Python, SPARK, SAS)
- 2+ Years of Experience
