A role in Store Design means the opportunity to apply your innovative and sustainable architectural/interior design and technical expertise. Your work will help define the physical experience and evolve the brand image in stores and in support of Target business strategies. You’ll interpret program and scope details to integrate them with the site design and aesthetic, including new stores inside and out, exteriors and interiors, small flex formats, remodels and innovation projects.
Systems Design and Maintenance
  • Designs, develops, and maintains CAD (Computer-aided design) software productivity tools.
  • Collects business and information requirements by working with Store Design clients. 
  • Ability to transfer requirements to technical solutions and understand the feasibility of them.
    Involves the client in testing and acceptance of developed software.
Software Development
  • Develops for in-house created systems and CAD software.
  • Performs software enhancements based on prioritized system change requests.
  • Integrates and works with solutions created by external development vendor.
  • Ability to apply programming concepts to a variety of coding languages.  
  • Creates automated jobs to run on CAD files.
  • Runs complex database queries for testing and reporting.
Support & Training
  • Provides support to research and resolve CAD related support issues.
  • Documents systems functions and support processes.
  • Supports business teams to develop and deliver user training.
  • Supports maintenance of large format printer/plotter machines for CAD drawings.
  • Partners with IT teams for commercial software deployment and user machine CAD issues.
About You
  • 4 Year accredited degree in related field
  • Minimal 2-4 Years relevant experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Programming with current programming language
  • Relational Database, SQL, complex queries
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to communicate high level and in detailed technical designs
  • Execution of functional testing
  • MS Access
