A role in Corporate Real Estate means the opportunity to develop and execute a long-term, flexible real estate strategies for Target’s global non-retail portfolio; delivering best-in-class environments and experiences in workspaces to reflect the forward leaning culture of the organization. You will be a key player on a team that manages the lifecycle of the non-retail portfolio; including site selection, negotiation of terms for new and existing locations, interpret program and scope details for building out spaces (new and remodel) balancing with schedules and budgets while keeping the internal team and vendor partners aligned with effective communication. You’ll drive value through optimized performance, effectiveness, longevity and impact of non-retail facilities. Here, your work will exceed the needs of both Target team members and visitors, delivering a holistically positive and pleasing experience, every time they walk through our doors.

As a Sr. Specialist Building Operations, you will be primarily responsible for safely and efficiently handling freight and moving inventory throughout the warehouse. Ensuring accurate verification of materials received against bills of lading, as well as performing inventory counts and reconciliations on a prescribed schedule.  You will also interface with various vendors arriving at the loading dock and support deliveries to the FRS teams within the site. You will additionally assist the Maintenance team members and provide backup to that team for building issues when necessary.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM CST

About you:
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
• Able to be trained on and operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift)

• Able to operate computer systems and software with minimal direction after receiving training
• Able to lift and carry materials weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift

• Able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout a shift

• Able to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)

• Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Ability to learn necessary skills to act as backup to maintenance team when necessary. Including acquiring a basic understanding of the programs associated with building management systems, life safety systems, and work order applications. Requires PC skills as well as some basic mechanical abilities.
