The pay range is $69,000.00 - $124,200.00

A role in Supply Chain Facilities means being on the very front lines of getting product to the guest as fast as possible—a critical differentiator and one of the most essential functions within Logistics. Whether it’s through focusing on regional or upstream distribution centers, target.com fulfillment centers, or import warehouses, you’ll have a chance to positively impact thousands of fellow team members and Target guests worldwide. There’s so much good work to be done, from Distribution Center Operations, where process and problem solving drive our results; Quality Management, which influences and maintains our good name in the retail marketplace, or overall Distribution Center Productivity, where we’re always analyzing and recalibrating how to best support our people, process and technology investments to support an ever evolving business.

A role as a Training Operations Managerprovides a chance to influence with a focus on safety, leadership, excellence, self-motivation, problem-solving and teamwork. You will foster a “safety first” culture through awareness, training and accountability. You will quickly establish yourself as an engaging and inclusive leader who will develop and implement training content for your building.  You will also communicate and oversee the execution of training at all levels by building,maintaining strategic partnerships with the entire building and various headquarters partners. You will be strategic in your approach in everything you do, creating strategies to balance short and long term business plans. You will foster the development and growth of the team members and leaders in your building.  You will work closely with the Headquarters’ Learning & Development team and the Human Resources Process teams to ensure standard training programs are properly designed and consistently implemented.  You will select, evaluate, and develop the Team Member Trainers and Operational Manager Trainers, and ensure that building staffing and training timelines are communicated and met.  You will appropriately addresses any inaccuracies, concerns, or constraints to all parties in a timely manner. You will also analyze and understand data to measure the training program performance within the building.  Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.  

About you:

  • Four year degree or equivalent experience, preferably in human resources 

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with ability to engage and motivate others 

  • Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills with all levels of the organization 

  • Comfortable with ambiguity 

  • Good reasoning, conflict-management, and analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Able to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including the ability to traverse conveyor crossovers and reach mezzanine platforms 

  • Able to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Distribution Center.
