Role & Responsibilities 

As an Engineer in the Technology Leadership Program, your specific responsibilities will vary depending on your team assignment and business needsGenerally, you may: 

  • Evaluate New Technologies: Provide input on assessing and integrating new technologies relevant to your team’s projects. 

  • Design and Development: Contribute to the design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of services. Assist with code and design reviews, and write, organize and maintain code based on designs. 

  • Research and Innovation: Participate in research and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies helping to drive innovation within your team. 

  • High-Performance Deliverables: Deliver high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure solutions with guidance from senior engineers. 

  • Automation and Debugging: Engage in structured construction, automation, debugging and implementation activities, ensuring best practices are met. 

  • Disaster Recovery: Participate in disaster recovery planning and activities to ensure system resilience. 

  • Testing and Integration: Conduct functional integration and regression testing and automate test scripts to ensure quality and efficiency. 

  • Technical Issue Resolution: Resolve technical issues and monitor system capacity with minimal assistance. 

  • Data Management: Understand and utilize metadata about various data sources and metrics to support your team’s objectives. 

About you

  • Four-year degree with strong academic performance, or equivalent experience
  • Problem solver who can tackle complex technical challenges
  • Proficient in at least one programming language
  • Familiar with current and emerging technologies within your scope of responsibility

  • Continuously build upon domain-specific knowledge

  • Understand the concepts of distributed programming and apply them to your domain

  • Possess working knowledge of transaction codes/master data used within your specific domain and participate in building custom solutions

  • Stay current with new and evolving technologies through formal training and self-directed education

  • Enjoy collaborating with a team and possess strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Relevant work or internship experience is highly preferred

  • Open to relocation to Minneapolis, MN
